Nat Zenit is currently a BFA candidate at Massachusetts College of Art and Design for Fibers and Studio for Interrelated Media. During their time at Massart they have focused on many textile methodologies such as weaving, embroidery and crochet and have developed skills in show production and installation which include video, lighting and audio. Outside of academics, they were part of the student group known as Eventworks, in which they collaboratively produced and ran a series of events throughout the 2024-2025 school year. They have also been involved in other events outside of school in which they’ve shown their talents in live video manipulation. They have worked with non-profit organisations such as the Empowerment Factory, which helps kids in underprivileged communities to explore the arts. In their personal practice Nat explores and meditates on topics surrounding their queer identity, culture, memory, intimacy and ephemerality.
